Tasting Notes

The 2009 rendition is showing differently than the 2008, although the blend is similar. This wine displays a velvety elegance and terrific approachability in it’s youth. Like a first round draft pick, expect great things to evolve with some proper cellaring. The flavors meld together reminding a proper Englishman of afternoon tea. Ripe, red raspberries, dusty dark chocolate dipped cherries, juicy strawberries with chocolate mint, and plum pie with a pepper crust and a dab of a toasty vanilla cream. Are we making you hungry yet?? This lovely version has a long, fruity, dark, dusty finish with wonderful acidity to carry it off. We hope you love it as much as we do!! 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre,10% Counoise.
