2010 "The Gap" Cuvee Blanc
Tasting Notes
As Jenn says, “Let there be white.” This year’s version has more Picpoul Blanc giving it excellent acidity and tropical notes while allowing the sumptuous jasmine from the Roussanne and peach blossom from the Grenache Blanc to emerge. There is an eloquent minerality and lovely pie baking spices on the nose and pallet. Left on French oak barrels up until bottling. Delightful.
43% Grenache Blanc, 23% Roussanne, 34% Picpoul Blanc,155 cases produced. |
